Job Overview

STEMCELL Technologies is dedicated to supporting the scientific community by curating and sharing recent research publications, science news, events, and job postings. We are seeking a Scientific Communications Associate to support the execution and growth of this program, researching and curating scientific literature, and publishing content across websites, newsletters, and social media. This role is ideal for an early‑career science communicator with strong attention to detail, curiosity for scientific research, and an interest in digital content creation.

• Perform scientific literature searches to find timely and high‑impact science news, events, jobs, and other relevant content
• Publish curated content on the STEMCELL Science News website, in newsletters, and on social media
• Monitor social media platforms and actively engage with scientific audiences
• Track, analyze, and report on program performance using key metrics.
• Support and manage relationships with external media partners to amplify the reach of the STEMCELL Science News program
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the STEMCELL Science News program through new processes, tools, and systems

• BSc with up to 2 years of work, co‑op, or volunteer experience in a scientific setting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English and the ability to translate scientific concepts into clear, engaging content
• Familiarity with scientific literature, academic publishing, and interpreting research articles

The annual salary for this job ranges from $58,500.00 – $79,100.00.

STEMCELL determines an individual’s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job‑related skills, and equity within the team or organization.
