SGS is seeking a skilled Laboratory Technician to perform essential analyses on petroleum products. Utilize your expertise in laboratory processes and data management in this dynamic environment.
In this role, you will focus on sampling, data entry, and analysis while working closely with senior staff for guidance. You will conduct tests compliant with recognized procedures, and maintain and operate laboratory equipment effectively. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure are necessary for success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct laboratory analysis of petroleum products
• Maintain and operate specialized laboratory equipment
• Organize the lab to enhance workflow efficiency
• Assist in the training and support of junior technicians
• Execute various projects as required by the laboratory
Requirements:
• Education in Chemistry or similar field
• 1-2 years of lab experience, preferably in oil
• Valid driver's license for commuting to sites
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Capable of managing time efficiently in a busy lab
