Process Development Associate
Job Overview
Process Development Associate will support the design, development, and optimization of scalable production processes to advance STEMCELL products. The role includes process design, analytical characterization, scale‑up, technology transfer, and cross‑functional collaboration to ensure product safety, consistency, and quality across the lifecycle.
Responsibilities- Contribute to the development, optimization, and implementation of scalable production processes under supervision to meet project timelines.
- Perform analytical characterization of raw materials, in‑process components, and finished products following established SOPs.
- Support the design and execution of process development studies, bench/pilot scale scale‑up, and experiments to optimize analytical methods.
- Assist in technical transfer of processes or methods to other departments, drafting clear SOPs, and contributing to cross‑functional projects.
- Analyze, document, and present experimental results to the team while supporting laboratory upkeep and safety activities.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Science or Engineering discipline with 0–2 years of laboratory experience.
- Foundational knowledge of analytical chemistry and/or cell biology principles, with hands‑on laboratory experience following SOPs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting data, writing reports, and training others.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Experience performing statistical analyses and interpreting experimental data; familiarity with SAS, JMP, or MS Excel is an asset.
Annual salary ranges from $58,500.00 to $79,100.00, with the final amount based on experience, education, and job‑related skills. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and other benefits.
