Amgen’s Immunoengineering organization is seeking an experienced, enthusiastic, and collaborative Scientist to join the Experimental Immunology Team at our British Columbia site.

The role is wet‑lab focused, involving the design, execution, and technical support of immunology‑focused research platforms. Responsibilities include developing and executing novel experimental platforms, assay development, primary cell culture, and utilization of techniques such as conventional/spectral cytometry, FACS, ELISAs/ELISpots, imaging, and molecular biology tools.

Applicants should have a strong foundational understanding of immunology, a proven track record of high‑quality research, creative problem‑solving skills, and a positive team‑based approach.

• PhD in a related discipline with 1–2 years of experience
• MSc with 3–4 years of experience
• BSc with 5+ years of experience

• Deep understanding of immunology with strong technical skill set
• Extensive wet‑lab experience, including immune response modeling and immunophenotyping
• Experience with standard immunology assays such as ELISA, ELISpots, and flow cytometry
• Experience with FACS
• Robust written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment
• Demonstrated scientific analysis and problem‑solving skills

The salary for this position in Canada is $109,255 – $147,815. In addition to base salary, Amgen offers competitive and comprehensive Total Rewards Plans aligned with local industry standards.
