Position: Senior Archaeology Coordinator, BC Hydro

As a vital member of the Archaeology/Heritage team, you will lead efforts in archaeological resource management and impact assessments for various projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage province-wide archaeological compliance programs

• Oversee fieldwork contracts and quality assurance

• Coordinate multi-party technical working groups

• Develop archaeological and heritage management plans

• Engage with stakeholders and address regulatory concerns

Requirements:

• Relevant university degree in Archaeology or Anthropology

• 8+ years in progressively responsible roles

• Registered Consulting Archaeologist (RPCA) or eligibility for registration

• Strong communications and organizational skills

• In-depth knowledge of cultural heritage issues
