Stantec is expanding its team and seeking enthusiastic candidates with entry- to intermediate-level archaeological experience. Work may include identifying archaeological sites, collecting field data, and assisting in excavations across various industries. You will engage actively with Indigenous representatives, ensuring collaboration and respect in all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify archaeological potential and report findings
• Collaborate with supervisors on cultural resources management
• Collect and manage field data effectively
• Participate in reconnaissance surveys and impact assessments
• Assist in monitoring and excavation tasks
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Anthropology or Archaeology preferred
• Interest in cultural resource management
• Ability to work remotely for extended periods
• Valid class 5 driver's license preferred
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs
