This pivotal role is part of Amgen's Biologics Engineering team. You will characterize reagent and therapeutic proteins while overseeing mass spectrometry and chromatography processes. This contract role emphasizes collaboration and independent contributions based on project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain mass spectrometry and chromatography instrumentation
• Perform intact and sub-unit protein mass analysis
• Conduct peptide analysis for sequence confirmation
• Train staff on sample preparation and instrumentation
• Develop LC-MS and LC-MS/MS methods
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years or Master’s with 2 years lab experience
• Experience with Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography
• Proficient in LC-MS data software
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Reside in the Greater Vancouver Area
