As a contract scientist, you'll collaborate with the In Vitro Pharmacology team to discover and characterize novel antibodies. Your strong laboratory skills and scientific curiosity will drive the design and execution of custom bioassays tailored to therapeutic needs. This supportive role offers growth potential within Amgen’s mission to enhance patient lives through groundbreaking research.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and execute experiments for therapeutic antibody screening
• Apply mammalian cell culture, flow cytometry, and ELISA techniques
• Analyze and communicate experimental results clearly and effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical challenges
• Maintain complete documentation in electronic systems
Requirements:
• Doctorate degree or relevant master's/bachelor's with experience
• Assay development expertise, especially for antibodies is preferred
• Familiarity with lab equipment for high-throughput assays
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Initiative and problem-solving capabilities
