Key Holder – Metrotown Store
We’re looking for a natural leader and strong connector to join the Herschel Supply Co. Metrotown Store team as a Key Holder. This role includes leading the floor, supporting daily operations, and maintaining a high store energy when management is away. You’ll set the tone, coach team members, and ensure every customer leaves with a standout experience.
Responsibilities
Open and close the store on schedule.
Lead the sales floor, set pace, delegate tasks.
Serve customers with authentic energy and product knowledge.
Coach and support Sales Associates, giving feedback and encouragement.
Maintain store appearance – clean, organized, merchandised to standard.
Manage stock: receive shipments, restock, prep floor.
Run transactions accurately on POS and mobile systems.
Track KPIs, inspire team to hit sales goals.
Address customer concerns, turning challenges into positive outcomes.
Stay current on product launches, brand initiatives, store events; help bring them to life.
Qualifications
Natural leader who energizes and motivates others.
Friendly, authentic, and confident in creating customer experiences.
Strong communication skills; able to coach teammates and connect with customers.
Organized and reliable; able to juggle multiple priorities.
Comfortable making decisions on floor when leadership absent.
Flexible to work weekends, evenings, holidays, and special events.
Results‑driven with a growth mindset; open to feedback and eager to learn.
Visual merchandising or inventory experience is a strong asset.
Previous retail experience (Key Holder or established Sales Associate level preferred).
Availability
Retail employees must work a mix of opening and closing shifts, evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Availability on at least one full weekend day is required. Part‑time is 24 hours or less.
Pay
Salary: $19.50 – $20.75 per hour, depending on experience.
