Become a Retail Manager at BCIT Student Association to manage store operations and enhance student life. This position involves staff oversight and inventory management.
You will be directly responsible for hiring, training, and managing a team, ensuring high standards of customer service, and handling financial transactions, all while adhering to the BCITSA’s values of diversity and respect. This full-time, temporary role runs from May to November 2026, allowing you to positively impact student experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage overall store operations and staffing
• Ensure compliance with merchandising standards
• Oversee financial transactions and cash management
• Implement effective customer service strategies
• Conduct annual inventory assessments
Requirements:
• 3-5 years' experience in a retail management role
• Specialized diploma or equivalent education
• Knowledge of sales strategies and cash handling
• Intermediate Windows PC proficiency
• Ability to lift up to 11 kg (25 lbs)
Lead your retail team at BCITSA and contribute significantly to student support and engagement.
