Position: Full-Time Butcher Assistant

As a Butcher Assistant, you will work in Burnaby, BC, where your responsibilities will include cleaning meats, preparing standard and special cuts, and serving customers directly. This permanent position allows you to develop your skills while ensuring quality meat products for our clientele.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting

• Cut carcasses, sides, and quarters of meat

• Package and wrap meats for retail sale

• Sell and assist customers with their meat orders

• Grind meats and prepare roast shapes for cooking

Requirements:

• Completion of secondary school required

• Willingness to learn through on-the-job training

• Must be physically present at our location

• Authorized to work in Canada (resident or valid permit)

• Collaboration with customers to fulfill special requests
