Goliath Grower Services is looking for a Seasonal Garden Centre Lead Merchandiser to lead a team from April to early June. This role requires strong leadership, retail merchandising expertise, and a passion for gardening. Ideal candidates will thrive in a physically demanding, fast-paced outdoor environment while delivering excellent customer service and team motivation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and support a team in product display and maintenance
• Train team members in plant care and merchandising techniques
• Supervise inventory organization for appealing displays
• Monitor product quality and availability on the sales floor
• Engage customers with gardening knowledge and product advice
Requirements:
• Previous retail merchandising experience required
• Minimum 2 years in team leadership or management
• Comfort with physical tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Passionate about gardening and outdoor living
