We are seeking a Head Butcher with a passion for meat management and customer service. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing standard cuts of meat and poultry, overseeing inventory, and ensuring compliance with health standards. You will also supervise and train other butchers, helping to create a well-organized self-serve counter for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Cut, trim, and prepare various meats and poultry
• Manage inventory and maintain accurate records
• Supervise and train junior butchers and meat cutters
• Ensure timely weighing for pricing and display
• Monitor food storage conditions to meet health regulations
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of butchery experience
• Proficiency in English language
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service skills
