Our showroom is where ideas become reality. As a Part-Time Showroom Design Consultant (16 hrs/week, 6-Month Contract), you'll help customers bring their residential and commercial projects to life by combining product expertise, design guidance, and exceptional customer service.

The Showroom Design Consultant is responsible for delivering an outstanding showroom experience through consultative selling, design guidance, product expertise, and project support. You'll work closely with homeowners, contractors, designers, architects, and internal sales teams to help customers select the right products, prepare accurate quotations, and guide projects from initial consultation through to sale, while contributing to an organized, welcoming, and high-performing showroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Showroom Consultations and Sales:
Schedule and lead showroom consultations for residential and commercial projectsConsult with homeowners, contractors, designers, and architects to recommend tile, luxury vinyl plank (LVP), and complementary product solutionsPrepare accurate quotations, provide product availability, and identify opportunities to maximize project valueBuild lasting customer relationships through proactive communication and timely follow-upCustomer Experience and Sales Support:
Deliver a welcoming, professional, and consultative showroom experienceUnderstand customer needs and confidently present product features, benefits, and applicationsProvide samples and product information to support purchasing decisionsCollaborate with inside and outside sales teams while maintaining accurate customer and quotation recordsProduct Knowledge and Technical Support:
Interpret plans and project specifications to recommend appropriate materials and installation solutionsMaintain current knowledge of products, design trends, and industry best practicesShowroom Operations:
Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroomCoordinate merchandising, showroom samples, and promotional displaysSupport order desk activities, showroom events, and other duties as requiredQualifications:
Previous experience in retail sales, showroom sales, interior design, flooring, building materials, or a related customer service environment is an asset, but not requiredDesign education or experience working with tile, flooring, or interior finishes is considered an assetComfortable learning new products, systems, and sales processesSuccessful completion of a background check will be requiredCompetencies:
