City Wide, the nation's leading management company in the building maintenance industry, is looking for a Business Development Specialist at its Vancouver location. Responsibilities- Make B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients offering janitorial and non‑janitorial services.
- Qualify prospects and schedule appointments for the outside sales team.
- Find and research businesses that would benefit from City Wide’s services.
- Make 80–100 sales calls and e‑mails per day to prospective clients.
- Manage and update the CRM database (Microsoft Dynamics) with scheduled calls, updated client records, notes, and appointments.
- Prepare accurate reports weekly or monthly as defined by management.
- Achieve or exceed monthly activity and lead generation metrics to reach revenue targets set by management.
- Send requested information to prospects and follow‑up letters when appropriate.
- Manage monthly email campaigns using the platform.
- Participate in training program and potential career progression into outside sales.
- High school diploma; college degree preferred but not required.
- 1–2 years of B2B outbound call center or equivalent experience in prospecting or cold calling highly desirable.
- Highly organized and able to follow a systematic sales process.
- Customer‑service oriented and with highly effective communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented and able to work independently.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Prior experience using CRM systems.
Competitive compensation: $20 per hour plus commission based on results, 39 hours per week. Clear advancement path to roles such as Sales Associate or Sales Executive. Professional development opportunities.
