Position: Security Guard Role at Simon Fraser University
Become a Campus Public Safety Officer at Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, and ensure a welcoming and secure environment for all. Engage with the campus community while maintaining safety protocols and responding to emergencies.

In this full-time role, your duties will include conducting patrols, supervising safety equipment, and emergency readiness. You will collaborate with dispatch and fellow safety officers and undergo comprehensive training to promote career growth. Scheduled from Sunday to Wednesday overnight, your presence will be crucial in fostering a safe environment for students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform regular campus patrols

• Respond to emergencies and provide care

• Monitor security systems and alarms

• Maintain logs of incidents and activities

• Support enforcement of campus policies

Requirements:

• Authorization for work in Canada

• Valid BC Security Worker’s License

• Intermediate Occupational First Aid Certificate

• Basic Security Training Certificate

• Management of Aggressive Behaviour training preferred
