In this position, you will be the Security Superintendent responsible for a comprehensive approach to security at the Great Bear mining site.

Your role involves coordination with operational leaders and contractors to develop site-specific security protocols. You will lead security initiatives while ensuring a proactive security environment aligned with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain site security management and protocols

• Validate security systems and perform audits

• Manage incident response and crisis management

• Oversee contractor performance in security services

• Develop threat assessment and security plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Security Management or related field

• Over 10 years in industrial security or emergency services

• Expertise in security risk assessments and compliance

• Proven experience in managing security contractors

• Knowledge of Ontario health and safety legislation

Ensure the safety and effectiveness of all operations at Kinross’ Great Bear mine through your leadership in security.
