Security Command Centre Operator - Part-Time

This part-time position requires effective communication and direction to field officers. Ideal candidates have a background in security monitoring or similar call center experiences. A strong understanding of security systems along with a B.C. Provincial Security License is vital. You will be involved in access control, alarm responses, and administrative tasks critical to the security operation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively monitor and manage security system alarms

• Support the integration and administration of security systems

• Keep detailed logs of operator shifts and activities

• Handle service requests and escalate as necessary

• Conduct connectivity tests and preliminary troubleshooting

Requirements:

• B.C. Provincial Security License required

• At least 6 months in Control/Operations/Call Centre

• Basic security training certification

• Strong computing skills

• Experience in customer service for security
