People and Safety Coordinator Healthcare

Support People and Safety operations with Securiguard across Vancouver Coastal Health sites, combining employee relations and occupational safety coordination. This role requires organized communication.
As a People and Safety Coordinator, you will support Securicare healthcare security operations within the Vancouver Coastal Health portfolio. You will assist with workplace investigations, employee documentation, incident reporting, and safety programs. The work connects employees, operational managers, and frontline teams while supporting compliant workplace practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond to general HR inquiries and workplace concerns
Assist with employee conduct and workplace safety investigations
Coordinate leaves, accommodations, discipline, and HR documentation
Support injury reporting, WorkSafeBC claims, and modified duties
Maintain safety records and monitor incident trends
Requirements:
Post-secondary education in human resources, safety, or related fields
Two to three years of relevant coordination experience
Knowledge of British Columbia employment legislation and WorkSafeBC regulations
Strong communication, organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
Valid BC Class 5 licence and reliable vehicle access
