Our Marine Insurance Division is seeking a detail-oriented Insurance Advisor
! Join us and make a positive impact on the team with your fresh ideas and unique perspective in this Full Time role. The successful individual will provide solutions that meet client needs by administering a book of business with comprehensive knowledge of Marine Insurance products and policies. Work within a team environment contributing to personal and department sales objectives.

• Administer a Personal Marine (Pleasure craft) book of business, including Floating Homes — managing renewals, policy updates, client inquiries, and accounts receivable

• Write new Pleasure craft policies and identify cross-sell opportunities across personal lines products

• Deliver knowledgeable policy and coverage guidance to clients, responding to inquiries with accuracy and professionalism

• Represent HUB Coastal at external marketing events including boat shows and trade shows — coordinating logistics and attending as a brand ambassador for our personal marine products

• Provide support and guidance to the Personal Insurance team, including branch staff, on marine-related products and processes

• Perform other duties as assigned in support of the broader Personal Lines team

• Level 2 General Insurance License

• 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance

• Marine experience preferred but willing to train

• Boating knowledge & lifestyle an asset

• Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes clearly

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)

• EPIC experience an asset

• Completion of industry-related designation (BCIT Insurance & Risk Management, CAIB, CIP, CRM, etc), or actively working on completion
