Concrete Masons

Fred Thompson Contractors (1991) Ltd. located at 7412 Gilley Ave, Burnaby, BC, VSJ 4X5 is hiring full-time, permanent Concrete Masons.

• Construct forms and bracings for concrete pours according to elevation points and design configuration;
• Check formwork, granular base, and steel reinforcement materials and supervise placement of concrete into forms;
• Install conduit and other fixtures in freshly poured concrete;
• Spread, level, smooth and finish concrete surfaces;
• Supervise helpers in concrete placement, finishing, and scoring;
• Other duties as required.

• Completion of secondary school preferred.
• At least two years recent industry experience as concrete mason.

• Wage: $36.60/hr plus overtime and benefits per BC Employment Standards
• Job status: full-time (40 hours per week), year-round permanent positions.
• Location of work: various job sites throughout the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas
• Language of work is English, however accommodations can be made for applicants with limited English.
