Service Electrician

About the Position

Location:

Burnaby, British Columbia. Expand our Power Quality services team.

Engage in all aspects of power quality electrical service work for existing customers and building new business, primarily within residential and commercial sectors.

• A certified Red Seal Electrical Journeyperson for at least 5 years
• Good understanding of the Canadian Electrical Code; FSR‑A or FSR‑B is an asset
• Demonstrated commitment to safety
• Experience or knowledge of infrared scanning and electrical preventive maintenance is an asset
• Well organized, team player, strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Skilled at electrical troubleshooting and problem solving
• Capable of supervising electrical journeyman and apprentices when required
• Able to work in an exciting fast‑paced positive environment
• Willing to work after hours and on call rotational basis
• Fluent in English; ability to read/write English and maintain legible accurate paperwork
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Must be a member of the IBEW Union or willing to become one

Compensation through the IBEW 213 Collective Agreement, plus great benefits and pension. A company service van, cell phone, and service clothing will be provided.

Must be a member of the IBEW Union or willing to become one. All hiring is subject to IBEW 213's dispatch process.
