Position: RCMP Victim Services Support Role
Provide invaluable support to victims and witnesses in your community as a Victim Services Caseworker at the RCMP Detachment. This role specializes in crisis intervention and emotional assistance for those affected by crime.

You will respond to urgent requests for help and assist clients with navigating police processes and completing important documentation. Your training in social services and experience with victims will help foster strong interpersonal relationships with clients and police, enhancing community safety. This position demands both sensitivity and professionalism in potentially distressing situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate investigation statuses to victims and witnesses

• Help clients submit applications and effect statements

• Maintain detailed records of client interactions

• Provide after-hours support for urgent needs

• Liaise with law enforcement and community resources

Requirements:

• Completion of 12th grade and relevant coursework

• Considerable experience with trauma-affected individuals

• Sound knowledge of crisis intervention practices

• Strong communication and documentation skills

• Valid Driver’s License and security clearance from RCMP

Assist victims and witnesses with compassion and expertise in the RCMP Detachment.
