Join Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker in New Westminster, BC. This critical position focuses on enhancing the welfare and stability of adult residents through dedicated support and training.

As a Tenant Support Worker, you will collaborate with the Site Manager and participate in a variety of responsibilities aimed at uplifting residents.

Your role involves conducting assessments, crisis intervention, and financial management for tenants, contributing to their long-term independence. Flexibility in shifts is required, with opportunities to work days, evenings, and overnight.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate tenant intakes and conduct evaluations

• Create individual service and crisis intervention plans

• Assist in everyday needs, maintaining long-term engagements

• Document important data and statistics accurately

• Mentor volunteers and practicum students at the facility

Requirements:

• Community Social Service diploma necessary

• Minimum of two years relevant experience

• Vulnerable Sector criminal record clearance

• Class 5 BC Driver's License if applicable

• Food Safe Certification if required
