Position: Part-Time Employment Outreach Specialist
Location: New Westminster

Join Aunt Leah’s as an Employment Outreach & Support Worker to assist young adults overcoming employment barriers. Deliver essential skills training and coaching in a supportive environment.

In this part-time role, you will aid participants in building confidence and readiness for employment, education, or training pathways. Your coaching will include a focus on résumé writing, interview skills, and connecting youth to training opportunities while addressing individual challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cultivate trusting relationships with participants

• Guide individualized employment coaching sessions

• Lead employment workshops and mock interview practice

• Conduct assessments to identify strengths and barriers

• Collaborate with community partners for participant success

Requirements:

• Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent experience

• Minimum 1 year experience in youth support or employment counseling

• Clear Criminal Record and Police Information Checks

• Willingness to obtain certifications in First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention

• Strong organizational skills for case documentation
