Support individuals in achieving greater independence at Lookout Housing and Health Society as a Tenant Support Worker. Provide essential skills training and crisis intervention at Russell Residence.
As a Tenant Support Worker, you'll report to the Site Manager and work diligently to improve tenants' living conditions. This position is focused on identifying tenant challenges, creating service plans, and ensuring basic needs are met through comprehensive support. You will also assist with documentation and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance residents' stability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and evaluations regularly
• Develop and implement effective service plans
• Provide medication and financial oversight
• Maintain thorough documentation of tenant progress
• Coordinate with volunteers and support students
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service
• Two years of related experience
• First Aid and Food Safe Certificates if applicable
• Class 5 BC Driver's License when necessary
• Clearance for Vulnerable Sector
