Location: New Westminster
Help make a positive impact as a Tenant Support Worker with Lookout Housing and Health Society in New Westminster, BC. Focus on crisis intervention, education, and supporting independence.
The role involves providing essential support to vulnerable adults, reporting to the Site Manager. Responsibilities include tenant intake assessments, creating crisis intervention plans, and ongoing resident engagement. You will also be supporting volunteers while fulfilling necessary health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct tenant intakes and support services
• Develop and implement service plans for residents
• Administer medications and finances responsibly
• Maintain accurate records and data evaluations
• Collaborate with volunteers for effective support
Requirements:
• Diploma in Community Social Service or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
• OFA 1 First Aid Certificate
• BC Driver’s Licence if required
