Location: New Westminster
Join Aunt Leah's Thresholds Program as a Program Coordinator, where you will play an essential role in empowering young mothers and their children. Lead daily operations in a supportive housing context to foster stability and independence.
This role involves providing leadership and oversight of program activities for a semi-supportive housing initiative. Your experience in human services will drive your ability to supervise staff effectively and implement trauma-informed practices. You will also coordinate community partnerships and ensure compliance with organizational guidelines. Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities, is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise staff and ensure high service standards.
• Facilitate resident goal planning and skill assessments.
• Monitor compliance with health and safety standards.
• Complete program reporting and maintain accurate documentation.
• Foster community engagement and relationships.
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Human Services or Social Sciences.
• 1-2 years of relevant experience.
• Strong organizational, administrative, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual platforms.
• Willingness to obtain necessary certifications.
