Position: Family Support Worker Needed

As part of the Thresholds Program, you will nurture trusting relationships while offering guidance on various life skills and supporting daily household tasks. Your expertise in trauma-informed care will be crucial as you implement safety protocols and participate in professional development. This full-time role includes on-call duties as well.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain trusting relationships with families

• Conduct and document safety drills and procedures

• Support meal preparation and shared responsibilities

• Track outcomes related to participant goals

• Engage with team members in scheduled meetings

Requirements:

• Relevant diploma in social services

• 1-2 years of experience with families in need

• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check required

• Must hold MCFD Caregiver Clearance

• Excellent communication and crisis management skills
