Position: Indigenous House Support Worker Role
Embrace the role of House Support Worker with Circle of Eagles Lodge Society in Vancouver, providing essential support to Indigenous individuals reintegrating into society. This full-time role requires evening and weekend shifts.

As a House Support Worker, you will supervise individuals and assist them in adhering to their parole conditions while ensuring a safe living environment. Candidates should possess strong communication skills, the ability to empathize, and a solid understanding of Indigenous cultures and resources. Your expertise will support residents on their path back to community engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor compliance with parole conditions among residents

• Maintain and report daily logs on residents’ behavior

• Ensure positive living conditions within the lodge

• Cook balanced meals following healthy living guidelines

• Act swiftly and calmly in emergencies

Requirements:

• Preference for individuals of Indigenous descent

• Preferred qualifications in Counseling or related fields

• Knowledge of the criminal justice system essential

• First Aid and Food Safe certifications mandatory

• Valid Class V Driver's License required
