You will report to the Senior Manager of Employee Health Services, ensuring effective management of disability cases in a unionized setting. Your responsibilities include interpreting Collective Agreements, gathering documentation for absences, and facilitating return-to-work programs for LDB staff. Analytical thinking and strong communication will be crucial in advising on accommodations and managing claims effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage complex disability cases with empathy and precision
• Interpret and apply relevant Collective Agreement language
• Gather documentation for absences and accommodations
• Coordinate services from the Short-Term Illness and Injury Plan
• Provide expert guidance on disability management
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in disability management
• Minimum two years of relevant experience
• Expertise in managing disability cases
• Knowledge of legislation and policy interpretation
• Ability to work hybrid from multiple locations
Excel as a Disability Case Management Advisor and contribute to better health services for LDB employees.
