In the Police - Youth Services unit, your role is pivotal in delivering effective prevention and intervention services. Candidates should have a Master's Degree in a related field and considerable clinical experience with children and families. Your work will involve assessments and tailored therapeutic methods to foster positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver assessments and clinical counselling to at-risk youth
• Engage parents and guardians in counselling processes
• Maintain organized records and documentation
• Function independently while adhering to professional standards
• Review performance based on accepted counselling practices
Requirements:
• Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field
• Professional registration and relevant counselling experience
• Familiarity with ethical guidelines of the BCACC
• Ability to conduct interviews effectively
• Valid Driver’s Licence for BC residents
