Elevate your career at Simon Fraser University as the Director of Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office. Lead efforts to provide essential support and promote education on sexual violence within a diverse student population.
This role demands senior strategic leadership, overseeing the Sexual Violence Support & Prevention Office didates should possess a Master’s degree and at least seven years of experience in anti-violence advocacy or social work. You will play an essential role in ensuring the well-being of all community members, from developing supportive policies to coordinating resources for survivors.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver sexual violence prevention education
• Ensure compliance with provincial legislation and policies
• Lead a trauma-informed multidisciplinary team
• Collaborate with institutional partners for effective service
• Advocate for survivor-centered resources and support
Requirements:
• Master's degree with relevant experience
• Minimum of seven years in applicable fields
• Proficient in anti-oppressive practices
• Strong knowledge of intersectionality and trauma care
• Awareness of BC's sexual violence regulations
