As a Shelter Resource Worker, you'll conduct guest intakes, offer orientations, and connect guests to vital community resources. You’ll work closely with those facing multiple challenges, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide support and supervision to homeless adults

• Conduct guest interviews and manage basic necessities

• Maintain accurate records and statistical data

• Assist in referrals to community services

• Work in compliance with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Certificate or minimum Grade 12 plus two years’ experience

• Familiarity with addiction and mental health resources

• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate

• Crisis intervention skills an asset

• Criminal Record Clearance – Vulnerable Sector
