As a full-time member of Tailscale's engineering team, you will work on developing tools and processes that empower various internal business units. This role includes improving the stability of system resources and facilitating internal stakeholder collaboration. Your experience with cloud services, particularly AWS, and distributed systems will be crucial in driving our objectives forward.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and document software infrastructure components
• Take ownership of observability initiatives for services
• Optimize efficiency and scalability of system operations
• Collaborate with engineering for cross-functional improvements
• Automate service updates and infrastructure tasks
Requirements:
• Strong background in CI/CD and cloud operations
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and distributed systems
• Understanding of networking fundamentals
• Go programming experience is a plus
• Excellent communication with a collaborative mindset
