Elevate game development at 2K Sports Lab as a Senior Gameplay Systems Engineer. You will architect and enhance narrative tools within Unreal Engine 5 in our Vancouver studio.

2K Sports Lab is building a strong team to create groundbreaking sports experiences. In this role, you will focus on CINEMATIC PIPELINE development, shaping in-game story moments through advanced camera systems and dialogue integration. Your expertise in C++ and Unreal Engine will drive the customization of authoring tools, ensuring smooth and performant cinematic content.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize the Cinematic Pipeline for in-game sequences

• Customize Unreal Engine's Sequencer for complex narratives

• Create advanced Camera Systems for dynamic gameplay moments

• Integrate Facial Animation and Dialog Systems for immersive storytelling

• Collaborate with Animation and Narrative teams for intuitive tools

Requirements:

• Over 5 years in software engineering focused on game development

• Expert in modern C++ and performance-critical engine coding

• Deep knowledge of Unreal Engine 4/5, particularly Sequencer

• Experience with Procedural Animation and Branching Dialog Systems

• Strong collaborative skills to align technical and creative goals
