At 2K Sports Lab, we are looking for a C++ Gameplay Systems Software Engineer to design and implement runtime systems for large-scale simulations. This role requires strong modern C++ skills and experience with Unreal Engine. Ideal candidates are passionate about real-time simulation and eager to tackle unique challenges in game development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement C++ systems for crowd and NPC simulation

• Collaborate with AI and Animation teams on gameplay systems

• Build scalable LOD, visibility, and culling systems

• Profile CPU and memory usage with Unreal Insights

• Contribute to our character pipeline and runtime

Requirements:

• 3+ years in game development or real-time simulation

• Strong modern C++ and Unreal Engine experience

• Familiar with gameplay and AI system development

• Comfortable optimizing runtime systems

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
