Join 2K Sports Lab as a Multiplayer Software Engineer and help engineer immersive online experiences in Vancouver, BC. Drive the development of groundbreaking multiplayer features for our upcoming AAA sports titles.

As a key player at the newly established 2K Sports Lab, you’ll collaborate as a Senior Online Software Engineer developing multiplayer capabilities within Unreal Engine 5.

Your role is essential, focused on aligning design, art, and production team goals while overcoming critical networking hurdles and enhancing gaming performance. Contribute to a vibrant engineering culture dedicated to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop multiplayer systems across custom game servers

• Address networking issues like synchronization and latency

• Partner effectively with design and art teams

• Ensure code quality through thorough reviews and collaboration

• Mentor and guide other engineers in the team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years in game development

• Strong C++ skills and knowledge of UE 5 networking

• Experience with multiplayer games and server management

• Familiarity with low-latency networking techniques

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
