Be a part of 2K Sports Lab in Vancouver, BC as a Senior Software Engineer. Help shape our next AAA sports game with advanced multiplayer technology.
We are in search of a Senior Software Engineer dedicated to creating immersive multiplayer experiences. You will engage with technologies including Unreal Engine 5, focusing on clean coding and efficient network solutions.
Your role will involve mentoring others and ensuring that our engineering culture thrives through collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create multiplayer experiences utilizing UE5 and custom servers
• Address complex networking challenges effectively
• Collaborate with design and production teams on features
• Write well-tested, high-performance code
• Lead code reviews to uphold quality standards
Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience in the gaming software industry
• Strong C++ programming proficiency
• Background in large-scale multiplayer game development
• Familiarity with networking concepts and architecture
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent
