Position: Senior Gameplay Engineer at SkyBox Labs
Join Sky Box Labs as a Senior Gameplay Software Engineer and help shape immersive AAA experiences in Burnaby. Utilize your expertise in C++ and UE5 to tackle innovative gameplay challenges while working in a hybrid setting.

In this pivotal role, you will collaborate with teams across disciplines to create dynamic gameplay within UE5. With a solid foundation in C++, you will contribute by participating in code reviews, refining processes, and addressing performance issues. Your deep technical skills will be essential in pushing the boundaries of modern game development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop dynamic gameplay systems using C++ and Blueprints

• Conduct code reviews to improve workflows and processes

• Maintain clear communication with design and art teams

• Identify and resolve software bugs and performance issues

• Learn and adapt to new technologies for project needs

Requirements:

• 6+ years of C++ experience in the game industry

• Deep expertise in Unreal Engine 5 with a shipped title

• Proven gameplay engineering experience

• Excellent interdisciplinary collaboration skills

• Strong problem-solving and adaptability skills
