Sky Box Labs is seeking a Senior Tools Software Engineer with a passion for innovation and over six years of C++ experience in the gaming industry. The role involves designing robust UE5 editor tools and automating workflows to support extensive content creation efforts. Collaboration with artists, engineers, and designers is paramount to streamline development and enhance game quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop UE5 tools for efficient world-building and asset handling

• Identify user requirements and optimize workflows across teams

• Take part in code reviews and enhance tools and processes

• Work alongside co-development partners to ensure smooth communication

• Test and troubleshoot software to resolve issues

Requirements:

• 6+ years of C++ experience within gaming

• Deep understanding of Unreal Engine 5 with shipped products

• Background in game and editor tooling

• Excellent collaborative and analytical skills

• Capacity for flexibility in architectural design and problem-solving
