At OSI Maritime Systems, you will lead the technical execution of software feature teams delivering mission‑critical navigation and tactical solutions. This role combines hands‑on technical leadership, team development, and delivery accountability, ensuring high‑quality software is delivered reliably from concept through release.
What You’ll Do- Lead end‑to‑end software development (requirements, design, implementation, testing, release)
- Provide technical direction and prioritization to developers, testers, and Technical Team Leads
- Deliver high‑quality software with predictable timelines and strong engineering discipline
- Ensure designs meet architectural standards and quality expectations
- Identify and mitigate technical risks early to protect delivery
- Partner with Software Project Managers and cross‑functional teams to align on scope and priorities
- Drive improvements in testing, automation, and development practices
- Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a collaborative and accountable team environment
- 7+ years of software development experience, including technical leadership
- Strong programming skills in C/C++ and/or Python
- Experience with Windows‑based application development
- Solid understanding of software design, testing, and CI/CD practices
- Proven ability to deliver complex, high‑quality software on schedule
- Strong problem‑solving, communication, and mentoring skills
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- Build software that supports real-world naval and maritime operations
- Work on complex, integrated systems where quality and reliability matter
