Position: Offworld's Technical Director Role
Location: New Westminster

Join Offworld Industries as a Technical Director, guiding technical strategy and architecture for pioneering game titles like 'Starship Troopers:
Extermination'. Lead a passionate team and influence the next wave of military FPS games.

In this role, you will oversee technical vision and execution, directly impacting the quality and stability of major game projects. Your responsibilities will include architecting systems in Unreal Engine 5, mentoring staff, and enforcing coding standards. You will also champion effective communication among technical and non-technical teams to ensure project alignment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and communicate technical strategy across projects

• Lead architecture discussions for Unreal Engine 5

• Mentor senior engineers for leadership growth

• Partner with production for realistic scheduling

• Maintain stability and process in development

Requirements:

• 2+ years in launching Live Service games

• Experience with C++ and high-concurrency systems

• Proven leadership in technical workflows

• Strong documentation and performance standards

• Experience with external technical partnerships
