Take on a key role at Offworld Industries as a Senior Game Backend Engineer. Leverage your skills in Node.js and Type Script to support large-scale multiplayer environments.

At Offworld Industries, the creators of “Squad” and “Starship Troopers:
Extermination,” you’ll ensure the stability and modernization of our game’s microservices backend. You will collaborate directly with Tencent’s teams while managing high-concurrency server demands. This position is essential for the success of our innovative multiplayer projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Remediate existing backend scaling logic

• Drive feature completion by integrating backend and frontend

• Decouple database configurations from codebase

• Build automated integration test suites

• Coordinate architecture and code reviews with Tencent

Requirements:

• Over 5 years of backend engineering experience

• High proficiency in Node.js and Type Script

• Strong grasp of stateful architecture principles

• No

SQL database experience

• Fluent in Mandarin and English for communication
