Pacific Blue Cross is hiring permanent Software Developers to join our IT team, operating within CUPE 1816. You'll play a key role in delivering technology-driven solutions by engaging in the software development lifecycle. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that our health services remain efficient and effective.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define design components and collaborate on programming tasks
• Integrate software testing and quality assurance practices
• Monitor application performance and resolve system issues
• Maintain and develop project documentation standards
• Participate in deployment and retrospective evaluations
Requirements:
• Diploma in computer systems technology with relevant coursework
• 5+ years in software development projects
• Skills in Agile methodologies and testing frameworks
• Experience supporting SQL and Data Engineering teams
• Strong problem-solving capabilities in technical contexts
