Fortinet is actively seeking a detail-oriented Software QA Specialist to support the Software Development team. Focused on developing and implementing QA tests, this role will require you to identify bugs and communicate effectively with developers. With your foundational knowledge in networking and problem-solving skills, you will play a critical role in enhancing our software product's quality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain the QA test environment
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce and troubleshoot bugs
• Write detailed QA tests and report on software reliability
• Engage in hands-on bug fixing for current offerings
Requirements:
• 1+ years in a Unix/Linux operational role
• Strong understanding of HTTP and TCP/IP networking
• Skills in system installations and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of one scripting language required
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent experience
