Senior Software Manager

A confidential technology company is seeking a Senior Software Manager to lead experienced development teams through complex product work. This role is for a technical leader who can connect product vision, engineering discipline, and people development while helping teams deliver reliable software in a fast-moving environment.

You will guide agile teams across software design, development, testing, and delivery. The mandate requires sound technical judgement, practical coaching, and the ability to turn a broader product vision into staged, achievable releases without losing sight of the end goal.

• Build and lead high-performing agile software development teams.
• Translate product vision into practical feature plans, technical decisions, and delivery priorities.
• Coach team members in technical practice, project and time management, coding, and testing.
• Apply strong problem-solving to both technical constraints and people challenges.
• Strengthen collaboration across engineering, product, customers, stakeholders, and executive leadership.
• Protect quality and delivery standards across the full software development life cycle.

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline.
• 14+ years of experience in software development, design, and testing, including 4+ years in a leadership capacity.
• 10+ years of experience with iOS development.
• A proven record of managing agile teams and building strong team performance.
• Strong knowledge of the Microsoft technology stack and commonly used languages, including C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, and Type Script.
• Strong communication, prioritization, cross-functional leadership, and stakeholder-management skills.
• The ability to influence decisions from technical teams through the C-suite and communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

• Experience leading enterprise development across web and mobile platforms, including Windows, Android, and iOS.
• A record of developing high-potential technical talent into leadership roles.
• The network and industry presence to help attract strong technical talent.
