Apply software quality assurance and automation skills to Fortinet’s product suite while testing features, bug fixes, and network systems. Analyze code and document defects clearly.
This Software QA Automation Specialist role suits candidates with at least two years of software quality assurance or network engineering experience. You will combine manual and automated testing, automate front-end coverage, and work with developers to resolve defects. The work also involves Unix/Linux, TCP/IP networking, firewalls, switching, routing, and scripting.
Key Responsibilities:- Execute feature and bug fix testing manually and automatically
- Analyze code during software quality assurance testing
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Automate front-end testing using available automation tools
- Maintain experimental and hot-test network systems
- Two or more years of software quality assurance experience
- Unix/Linux environment experience and TCP/IP networking knowledge
- Knowledge of firewalls, switching, and routing
- Ability to write clear, reproducible problem reports and test results
- Knowledge of Shell, Ruby, Perl, Python, or another scripting language
