Fortinet seeks a Software Development QA Specialist with two or more years of software quality assurance or network engineering experience. You will test features and bug fixes, automate front-end testing, and analyze software behavior. The work requires Unix/Linux experience, TCP/IP networking knowledge, and familiarity with firewalls, switching, and routing. You will also maintain experimental and hot-test network systems while partnering with developers to resolve defects correctly.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute feature and bug fix testing manually and automatically
Analyze code during software testing activities
Identify, document, and track software defects
Automate front-end testing with automation tools
Operate experimental and hot-test network systems
Requirements:
Two or more years in software quality assurance or network engineering
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments
Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, switching, and routing
Ability to write clear, reproducible problem reports and test results
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Shell, Ruby, Perl, or Python
Use QA automation, Linux, networking, and troubleshooting skills to strengthen Fortinet software testing and defect resolution.
