This AI Native Software Engineer II directs agents instead of writing code directly. You will orchestrate full-stack application development, workflow automation, and basic agents. The work spans requirements, deployment, instrumentation, and iteration, with security, privacy, reliability, and quality guiding releases.
Key Responsibilities:
Build applications, automations, and basic agents using AI coding agents
Translate customer needs into specifications and deployed solutions
Instrument products to track usage and outcomes
Evaluate AI-generated output against Remitly standards
Document prompts, approaches, and effective team patterns
Requirements:
Proficiency with AI coding agents for development
Understanding of frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure
Ability to write and iterate effective prompts
Ability to interpret usage, conversion, and error metrics
Familiarity with applications, APIs, databases, and queues
Apply full-stack product thinking, prompt engineering, and AI agent orchestration to deliver robust Remitly customer solutions.
